" As a certified ESOL teacher, I am both knowledgeable about and experienced in teaching a second language, but I learned a lot from Edwige, not just about French, but also about teaching. She is a gifted teacher with unerring insights into a student’s strengths and weaknesses and effective, creative methods to address those areas. These skills are underscored by her calm competence and genuine warmth and generosity."

My philosophy
As a Native speaker, my teaching isn’t just about ingraining information into students’ minds for them to memorize — it’s about providing them with the tools they need in order to think critically and succeed.
I offer lessons tailored to your needs. I am particularly committed to developing your oral communication skills.
It is also very important for me that you feel confident and that you take pleasure in the learning process!
My experience
Since I qualified to teach French as a foreign language in 2005, I've taught in various countries with L'Alliance Française: Morocco, Australia, New-Zealand, Norway, Belgium and the UK.
I have been working for the last 15 years with individuals, governments, public bodies and also private companies supporting them in their desire to improve their command of the language in a professional environment. I am fluent in English.
After this great experience, I decided to start my own business and I am now in this beautiful and exiting adventure of working for myself!
I am very happy to welcome my students to our lovely cottage for French Residential stays.
